Sujit Kundu channeled his love for music into becoming a successful DJ talent manager, promoter, and recording executive with a long list of clients including Lil Jon, Caroline D’Amore, Amber Rose, Tyson Beckford and dozens of high-profile DJs. “I love what I do, so I never feel like I’m working. I wake up when I’m ready to wake and sleep when I’m ready. I don’t need four cups of coffee a day to stay up to get this work done.” Growing up in Fullerton, CA, Sujit never thought he would end up in the music industry. After a bet was made with a friend on whether or not the go-getter could throw a successful rave, his destiny was set. The event was a success, and it wasn’t long until Sujit attracted some of the ‘90s’ most prominent acts like Warren G and Mobb Deep to his parties. Sujit Kundu then founded “SKAM Artists,” short for Sujit Kundu Artist Management – one of the country’s leading DJ and talent booking agencies. From club promoter to CEO, Sujit reflects often on his humble beginnings and how much more room there is for growth. “I feel like we’re just getting started. It’s cool to see how things evolve and how things have grown.
