SAY YES TO THIS DELICIOUS PUMPKIN MASK

SAY YES TO THIS DELICIOUS PUMPKIN MASK

The fall season is here! I love this time of year when I get to use all my favorite ingredients such as pumpkin, cinnamon, chocolate sea salt, and honey! Delicious ingredients when making my seasonal skincare masks! Yes, masks and at the end, you may still want to eat it!

Not only are these ingredients some of the most delectable on the planet they also carry an array of properties that help our skin. This year while you’re making your seasonal desserts consider setting aside a bowl of these creations, and I promise that during this season of gratitude your skin will thank you!

Pumpkin is not only the star ingredient of the season but it is also the secret to keeping your holiday glow! Pumpkin is loaded with enzymes that will peel away dead dull skin, add a pinch of cinnamon to stimulate blood flow, and help detox the skin. Honey and apple cider vinegar are going to help brighten the skin from any brown spots especially after a hot summer season in the sun.

BRIGHTENING PUMPKIN MASK

 2 Tablespoons of Pumpkin Puree

1 pinch of cinnamon

1 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar

1 tablespoon of all-natural or raw honey

Combine ingredients in a bowl until mixed thoroughly. Place a generous amount to cover the face and neck. Let sit for 15 -20 minutes. Wash your face. You may also follow up this mask with an additional moisturizer or night cream of your choice.

Our next recipe is one of my absolute favorites. You may want to make a little extra because this one is very tempting to eat!

How could we go through the fall season without a sea-salted chocolate mask!

Everyone’s favorite dessert ingredient is loaded with antioxidants not only for the body but also for the skin. Who doesn’t want to be covered in chocolate?

Chocolate helps restore skin moisture from the inside out and is loaded with vitamins, a, b, c d, e, and also iron. It is also loaded with antioxidant flavonoids which help protect your skin from UV damage.

The Sea salt is going to help balance the skin. Giving a deep clean to the pores and balancing oil production. It will also help eliminate any bacteria on the skin reducing acne. Sea salt really sets the stage to help the skin absorb all the nutrients from the cacao. Our last ingredient is yogurt and honey. Yogurt contains lactic acid which is going to soften, brighten and remove dead skin. Honey also brightens and hydrates while helping the skin’s immunity and acts as the perfect binder for all your ingredients.
