Zara Alexandrova makes heads turn everywhere she goes. It’s not every day you see someone so elegant and put together on the set of a fashion shoot. There aren’t many women in Los Angeles who can mix exclusive high-end fashion pieces with sporty elements and look that chic, but Zara sure can.
Being an international personal shopper and a style consultant, Miss Alexandrova gets to go where we all dream of being; in the front row of fashion shows around the globe. She is always ahead of the curve when it comes to trends. Her predictions of “what’s next” are never wrong. Zara’s style is classy, lady-like with a young, fresh, and sporty element to it. She is bringing sophisticated style from the front rows of Paris Fashion Week to laid back streets of Los Angeles.
This Fall Winter 2019 must-have trending list by Alexandrova Zara is for Women who want to be inspired, by a Woman who loves inspiring others.
Fashion has been a big part of my life ever since I was a little girl. I grew up with four sisters so you can imagine how impactful that was on my tastes. When it comes to dressing up, my mantra has always been to Wear what looks good on you and makes you feel good. Fashion has nothing to do with the trends or style. Fashion is purely feeling great about yourself. My signature style is Sexy and classy, and every outfit has to have these two elements.
I try to go with my intuition and wear what makes me feel good, whether it’s trendy or not. But of course, when I see items on the runway that are current and modern, I can’t help but want to wear them. Every season has its highlights, and for me, it’s all about feeling good and standing out.
Favorite trends this season:
Built-in layering and cut out elements. This is one of the more creative trends of the season. Designers such as Fendi, Y Project, and Natasha Zinko are experimenting with singular pieces that give the appearance of layers.
A hint of Menswear
One of the most significant parts of my job is to work with men on their wardrobes. I find my high profile clients original and exclusive pieces from the best luxury and high-end designers. Working with male clients has affected my personal style, and I often find myself in a crisp white shirt or even a Suit with a structured blazer. If you want to go for a more feminine version, then you should try a suit in bold, bright colors. Whatever the color or shape, this is a trend that will stay forever!
Bold/Statement oversized suits and volume dresses
Look at the latest Valentino collections, and you will see bold, volume, puffy, bright, and unforgettable. I love bold colors and wide fit suits. This is one of my favorite trends this season, and there are endless ways to wear such combinations.
This trend is what fashion was craving for!
A hint of sport and activewear
Lately, I have been taking my work out very seriously, I train every day and keep in shape more than ever before. This has affected my daily routine and as a result, my style. I find myself mixing activewear with my high-end pieces, and I must say I love the result.
Make up, and beauty is a huge part of my daily routine and my personal style. I love playing around with different looks not only when I dress but also when I put on makeup. It gives me the ability to transform and create a more exciting and diverse look. For the last couple of months, I have been working on developing my own cosmetic line. Traveling to France to build my brand has been an incredible learning experience, and I can’t wait to share more about it with you!
When it comes to my beauty routine, I like to start from a clean face. I make sure I have the right products for my skin. Many of us are buying beauty products that don’t suit their skin type. I highly recommend researching and find the perfect routine for you.
Don’t ignore the signs nature gives you. Treat your face and body as an individual. What works for me might not be right for you. Learn your skin type. Learn your angles for applying makeup and you will see great results.
