The S/S 2018 Collection showcased a fabulous array of floral appliqués, soft fabrics and prints. With a theme based on the Coté D’Azure, the line crossed between sleep and casual wear also featuring some casual menswear. It was a collection that could easily be seen amongst the crowds enjoying a leisurely brunch.
Toe tapping French pop music opened the show as the bright colors and pastels caught the audience’s attention. The showcase kept front of mind Son Jung Wan’s talent to created complicated, thought provoking designs with a shift towards gender neutral styles.
The fantastic work by the hair team lead by Jorge Luis for Sally Hershberger 24K Hair Products fully complimented the Son Jung Wang collection. This is Mr. Luis first season with Sally Hershberger, Jorge has been a lead for NYFW for almost a decade with a portfolio of many top magazines and top designers under his belt.
