If you’re planning on visiting Cartagena in the near future, you should seriously consider spending some time on the beautiful beaches of Boca Chica, a town on the island of Tierra Bomba; home to the magnificent @MAKANI.LBC
Your morning starts with one of their private water shuttles picking you up from Playa Boca Grande & then you’re quickly whisked away into the Caribbean Sea 🌊
About 20 minutes later, you arrive on the island where you are met & greeted by the incredible staff – they bring you to their welcome center, offer you a welcome drink, and instantly, your luxury beach club experience begins.
Once you’re in, you have access to all of the amenities including their attentive staff [which you’ll have a dedicated waiter] comfortable lounge areas, umbrellas, a gorgeous infinity pool, two jacuzzis, and a full-service bar which makes this an ideal place to relax and escape the hustle and bustle of the city.
They also offer an amazing menu with a variety of appetizers and entrees for you to choose from.
@MAKANI.LBC is a gorgeous natural space, surrounded by amazing architecture with a majestic design & and very Instagrammable spaces. There are tropical plants and gardens that harmonize the environment, and the sound of the turquoise waters of the sea, makes for unforgettable moments.

For adults from Tuesday to Friday: $160,000 COP w/ transportation / $120,000 COP without [all under $40 USD] weekends it goes up a bit but still under $40 🙌🏾
The shuttles go out at 9AM, 10AM & 11AM
And come back at 4PM, 5PM or 6PM so plan your day accordingly and maximize your time!
As of right now, the beach club does not offer accommodations but they’ve started working on that & should be available by 2024.
