PANTRY RX PAD

If there’s one thing that we can all agree on, it’s that many of us have not lived through a time such as the one we are living through right now; it’s caused us to be more resourceful than ever before. Beauty guru Robyn Newmark, owner of Newmark Beauty in Califonia, is right there with us! The stylist, makeup artist, and beauty educator is fully aware that we can’t stop by for one of the many treatments offered at Newmark Beauty such as the ProCell and EpilFree, or even one of the many courses offered, so she’s created four beauty treatments you can make with things found in your kitchen pantry; managing to still educate (one of Robyn’s passion) even during this time of social distancing.

Brightening Scrub

 2 tbs honey

 1 tbs of lemon or 3-5 drops lemon oil

 1 1/2 tbs sugar

 1 eggwhite

Apply to the skin and gently scrub as you apply, leave on for 15- 20 min., scrub again as you rinse revealing bright smooth skin.

Acne mask or spot treatment paste

 1/2 Mashed Banana

 1 tsp. Green tea powder

 1/2 tsp tumeric powder,

 1 tbs apple cider vinegar

 3- 5 drops tea tree oil if possible

Make a mask or paste and apply to pimples for 15-20 minutes

Hydration Mask

 1/2 Avocado

 1 tsp green tea powder or green tea water concentration,

 1 tbs honey,

 1 tbs olive oil

Mix and apply to skin – Let sit for 20-30 min

Pore Minimizing Peel

 1 chayote squash

 1 tbs lemon juice or 2-3 drops of lemon oil

 1 eggwhite

Blend some chayote squash with eggwhite and lemon and apply making a natural enzyme peel-leave for 15-20 or to make things even simpler just use the chayote squash alone.

Use a carrot peeler and peel the skin off the chayote squash until you get to the flesh. Then use the peeler to peel wide but thin flesh like peices of the chayote squash and lay it directly in the skin, under the eyes, around the mouth and over brown spots.

Chayote is often overlooked because it not a common incredient but it can be found in any produce market and is stronger in enzyme than papaya.

Also, take the skins and the juice of the chayote squash and rub it into the back of your hands and arms for a quick hand rejuvenation and peel. Helps keeps hands looking young and bright.
