The latest Gucci Spring 2016 short film is far out, man. This girl can’t wait to rock a sequin bell bottom pant and giant sunnies. Emerald green? Yes please. The Italian fashion house used fresh-faced models like up-and-comer Peyton Knight. Shot in Berlin, the stunning last few scenes captured sunrise on the roof of the Maritim Hotel which was designed by architect Aldo Rossi in the 80s.
The Spring Summer 2016 campaign short film, directed by Glen Luchford. The soundtrack “Goodbye Horses” is performed by female vocalist Q Lazzarus. Producer William Garvey wrote “Goodbye Horses” in 1988 about transcendence over those who see the world as only earthly and finite. In Hindu philosophy horses represent the five senses, and the song references the ability to lift one’s perception above these physical limitations and see beyond this perspective.
