Milan Fashion Week has come to an end but the trends that graced its runways are still on our minds! We’ll reveal the fall’s most anticipated trends. Expect everything from 70’s chic to velvet and sleek.
Designers such as Bottega Veneta, Genny, and Blumarine incorporated a psychedelic flare in their collections. According to Milan’s runways, ruffles, metallics and leisure suits are making a come back.
Roberto Cavalli, Fausto Puglisi and Blugirl’s collections featured floor-length skirts; while Fendi, Aigner and Gucci shocked fashionistas with fur shoes. This trend may sound bizarre, but the recent decrease in temperatures certainly makes it stylish yet practical.
Shoes weren’t the only furry attractions to hit Milan’s runways. Au Jour Le Jour, Roberto Cavali and Phillip Plein presented yetti coats for their autumn collections. They also featured bold colors such as orange, blue and fiery red!
While autumn fashion is about staying warm and cozy, it’s also about being sleek and sultry. Nothing says sleek and sultry like velvet. At Milan Fashion Week Costume National, Luisa Beccaria and Emilio Pucci presented velvet pieces in deep hues ranging from navy blue to rose-colored-reds.
As you can see there are a number of trends to look forward to this fall. What trends are you you most excited about?
