RACHEL BRADSHAW – THE BRADSHAW BUNCH

Many of our readers loved watching you on season 1 of E!’s hit show The Bradshaw Bunch.  What can you tell us about season two and what people can expect?

Thank you! I am really excited about this season because you get to know the family in a more intimate way. You get to see very special moments from everyone individually and major highlights in our lives that weren’t happening in season 1. We also were so much more comfortable in front of the cameras and that shines through the screen which makes it so much fun to watch. People can expect a lot of new beginnings and fun vacations!

What is it like shooting a show with your entire family?  Is anything off-limits?

I love shooting with the family! I don’t think I would do a reality show without a comfortable environment like we have. We have never spent this much time together because my dad has traveled my whole life so working together has been so enjoyable for us all. When we are filming we are constantly pranking and laughing there is never a dull moment! Nothing has been off-limits thus far but we also are filming a positive fun family show so there hasn’t been room for an “off-limit” conversation.

Any fun behind-the-scenes memories you can share?

Filming Family Feud was a blast. That was our second time doing the show and we know Steve pretty well at this point so to hang with him was hysterical because he is a total trip. They didn’t show any of that due to Covid protocol and filming inside the studio but I would have loved for our viewers to have seen the banter between him and dad behind the scenes because it was a total sight to see.

You recently released your new Christmas song, “Christmas to Me,” with your dad, Terry Bradshaw.  Can you tell us about the process of writing and recording the song?

I love Christmas. I mean I LOVE Christmas and it holds a special place in our hearts as a family so I got the itch to write a song about our traditions we have always had. I got on FaceTime with my producer and good friend Leland Grant and Stephony Smith, another amazing songwriter, and we wrote the song in less than an hour. I was spewing out ideas of traditions and what we do as a family and sure enough, the lyrics formed together effortlessly. I asked dad to sing with me because I just thought it would be s special moment together and we had a blast. We recorded the duet old school style standing in front of each other with our headphones on and it was a total “moment”. I’ll never forget it.

Any fun holiday traditions you and your family have?

We love to play cards, build fires and always have movies playing in the background. Christmas Vacation and It’s a Wonderful Life are our favorites. Everyone is a good cook around the house so of course there are yummy snacks everywhere and the house smells so yummy!

You have released quite a few hits such as “Wild Horse” and “Aphrodite.”  Can we expect any more music from you in the near future?

I will always be releasing music! I love creating I have been musical since I was a little girl and my mom would spend every weekend driving me around to sing at fairs and festivals and Opry’s, she and my dad were always so supportive. I am now releasing music on my own and not through a label or any venture and that takes a lot of pressure off to just have a good time and let my creative outlets be heard and just enjoy the process. Also, my EP will be coming out in January 2022.

Congrats on becoming the first ever brand ambassador for HOTWORX.  What about the company made you want to work with them?

I was born with scoliosis, a curvature of the spine, and I have had it pretty bad since I was a little girl. It finally got so bad I had to have spinal fusion surgery and if anyone knows what this surgery is it isn’t a joke its very dangerous and scary. My back is now made up of 2 rods and 40 screws so to get back into shape and developing strength was quite the task. I tried everything under the sun that would help me feel normal and healthy again but no workout was good for my back it was constant pain with whatever I tried. I then discovered Hotworx in downtown Dallas. I had heard of the company but never tried the workout and I am not joking within about 6 months of being consistent I could touch my toes I could bend I was healing with every workout it was miraculous what the infrared heat did for my body. So I reached out to the CEO Steve Smith one day on Instagram of all platforms and gave him my testimony and we drafted up a partnership that week and the rest is history! It was very serendipitous.

How would you describe your fashion sense? Any trends you are loving right now?

I am the queen of blazers I have been for years so it’s funny that it’s now one of the biggest trends so I am loving that of course. I love being comfortable I always am into a good high-waisted jean with a sexy heel, a blazer, and a bodysuit and I feel like I am on top of the world. Very simplistic yet super sexy. I have never been into showing a lot of skin I will either do a full leg situation or show off the top never both.

Could you share with us your daily beauty routine? What are your go-to beauty products?

I am a huge fan of BBL and certain laser treatments to just resurface and freshen my skin about once a month. Good skin sets the tone for your makeup to look flawless. I love the Nars Longwear foundation and I mix it with other colors it is so creamy and beautiful on every skin color and tone! I l also love Charlotte Tilbury her products are very high quality and you can build throughout the day they don’t get cake-ey and I like to remain fresh throughout the day so I am always adding a little something to my face and her products go on beautifully. And of course, getting good sleep is the ultimate part of my beauty routine.

Any New Years’ resolutions for 2022?

Honestly to just enjoy the ride. I have a lot of things to be thankful for and it’s time to enjoy it all after so much hard work!
