Brooklyn Chop House Heads to the Hamptons This Summer

After a successful month long pop up on the East End last August, Brooklyn Chop House returns to Southampton from Memorial Day Weekend to Labor Day Weekend at The Capri Hotel.  This Hamptons seasonal summertime location complements Brooklyn Chop House’s flagship in FiDi. Both locations are run by Robert “Don Pooh” Cummins, Dave Thomas and Stratis Morfogen. The new Southampton location offers guests a vacation destination to dine in serving steaks alongside Asian fare like Peking Duck and a variety of unique dumplings.

Brooklyn Chop House Southampton will offer breakfast, lunch and dinner. Poolside lunch options include Chicken, Beef, Shrimp and Lobster Satay, Chicken Lettuce Wraps and an 8oz Pat LaFrieda Double Hamburger. Entrées include 30- 35 Day Dry Aged Prime Steaks such as an 18oz NY Strip, 24oz Bone In Rib Eye, Grilled 18oz Filet Mignon, 32oz Bone In Tomahawk and 48oz Porterhouse for 2, a 7lb Long Island Peking Duck, Wakefield Alaskan King Crab Legs for two with garlic, scallions and ginger and a 4lb Salt & Pepper or Garlic & Ginger Lobster for two. Dumplings in standout varieties like French Soup, Gyro, Pastrami and Bacon Cheeseburger Shumai will also be available Wednesday – Sunday.

The restaurant’s Summer Breeze cocktail menu includes The East End Cooler made with fresh watermelon, pineapple, apple, St Germain, Grey Goose Vodka and fresh local basil and The Local Spritz will have fresh beet Juice, Mumm Napa Sparkling Wine and fresh locally-sourced ginger.  The restaurant also offer wines by the glass and bottle in addition to a selection of craft beers.  Hamptons breakfast and brunch service exclusively features Juice for Life juices from The Breakfast Club’s Angela Yee.

In the last month alone, the NYC location of Brooklyn Chop House has welcomed Patti LaBelle, Chaka Khan, J. Cole, Trey Songz and Wyclef Jean among others and owner Stratis Morfogen expects a star-studded summer at his East End outpost.
