70’s Stylin’

Want some inspiration on how to style the seventies trend? Then carry on reading…

Who else is loving the seventies trend this season? The catwalks for SS15 were literally screaming for the seventies style to jump back out pf hidding and into our wardrobes to add to this seasons must haves. From the fringing to the flares, it all looks fabulous! Here’s a few styling tips for those of you who are loving the seventies trend but need that little bit of help into what to wear with what.

Suede skirts are a definite must have for SS15. They are simple yet stylish and there a so many ways to style them up. This suede skirt from H&M is extremely popular right now. The detailing and material is spot on! You can buy this beautifully styled skirt here. The best way to style these skirts are with denim shirts, chiffon tops, crazy seventies styled prints – maybe even bohemian prints, or even a crochet bralet or a crop top. To add a bit of egde, add a fringed leather jacket for a rocky vibe to your outfit.

These Flared Jeans from Dorothy Perkins are the perfect pair to be rocking into to spring with! Teaming flares with platformed boots, sneakers or wedges, whatever you wear with them, they still give you an amazing shape. The fitted top half shows off your figure while from the knees downwards a bell shape is formed – which dates back to the 70’s of course when they were called ‘Bell-bottoms’.

A crochet bralet is definite must-have for SS15, especially during the festival period teamed with some statement sunnies, denim shorts and some sliders. You can buy this super cute bralet here.

As for the hippy style prints, from the bohemian to the aztec prints, they all stand out. Their the perfect prints to go for during the festival season too! You can style them up with floppy hats, flared jeans and platforms! Add a bit of body jewellery, a bit of volume to your hair and away you go! You can buy this floral print top here.
