What has been the most effective way of raising awareness of your business and getting new customers?
We provide the latest fashion trends in the marketplace and our customers feel confident they’re on trend. If the customer is looking for a new trend – we have it.
What is the biggest change you’ve seen in your industry with the rise of social media?
The consumer has unlimited choices. They don’t have to be brand loyal. They can window shop from their home and shop prices conveniently. More consumers are shopping online and the online retail industry is becoming more aggressively data driven.
What is the ultimate goal for your business and where do you see it going down the road?
Developing and introducing new product lines and categories so we can appeal to a broader consumer audience. Consumers want options and one of the greatest merchandisers in the world Marshall Field stated: “Always give the customer what they want!”
For women entrepreneurs, if you had one piece of advice to someone just starting out, what would it be?
Don’t be afraid to go after your dreams and goals because you will figure it out along the way. Don’t get tied up in what ifs. That stops the desire and creative process.
