Chris Kirkpatrick of *NSYNC,  and MTV’s Brian McFayden have lived public lives and have made famous friends along the way. Swapping life stories and trading memories can often sound like, “name dropping,” so they decided to start a podcast where their famous friends could come swap stories and “drop names”… 

Season two of the, “Name Drop,” podcast (part of the Hurrdat Media Network) dropped Tuesday, May 21 with guest AJ McLean, best known for his role as a member of the Backstreet Boys. On this hard hitting, two part episode, Chris and AJ discuss the perceived historical rivalry between *NSYNC and the Backstreet Boys, their complicated relationships with Lou Pearlman, acknowledging the impact he had on their careers and the ultimate betrayal they felt. They discuss personal growth in their lives including AJ’s journey to sobriety, what’s next for both singers, and their individual families’ lives.

About Chris Kirkpatrick

Chris Kirkpatrick is an American singer, dancer, actor, and voice actor who is best is known for his work as a founding member of the pop group *NSYNC in which he sang countertenor.   In recent years, he has also worked as a voice actor on numerous children’s shows, including “The Fairly Oddparents” on Nickelodeon, “The Simpsons,” and most recently, Chris was the voice of the Troll, “Trickee,” in the Dreamworks feature film, Trolls Band Together.

Brian McFayden is an American television personality and actor best known for his role as a host on MTV’s “Total Request Live” (TRL) during the late 1990s and early 2000s. His charismatic presence and engaging interviewing style made him a favorite among the show’s youthful audience. McFayden’s tenure on TRL coincided with the peak of the show’s popularity, where he helped introduce and interview some of the biggest names in music and entertainment. Beyond TRL, he has continued to work in television, contributing to various networks and programs.
