This summer, Filson pays homage to its rich heritage as a superior manufacturer of American rugged goods and enduring relationship with those who live and work in the woods by introducing a special, nostalgic-cool line of limited edition products focusing on an icon of the American outdoors: Smokey Bear. This beloved symbol of safety, along with his slogan, “Only You Can Prevent Wildfires,” appears on the matte black velvet dial of a limited edition watch, based on the 43mm Mackinaw Field watch, but with a brand new smooth top ring and a strap of self-lined dark brown English Bridle leather. Only 1,000 pieces of this classic watch with modern finishes have been produced, each featuring an individually engraved number on the caseback.
