Beyond Closet’s collection, titled “Bromance” is influenced by a boy’s night out in Seoul. Many pieces in the collection feature graphic patterns that were inspired by the neon lights hung in Taeyong Ko’s favorite bar. Each look portrays the youth culture of the city and the designer’s personal life with his friends.

“Korean textiles are excellent quality that can compete with both mass Chinese fabrics and high-end European textiles. I especially like the eco-conscious and technical materials, tailored to consumer demands. I am thrilled to celebrate KPNY’s 20th anniversary and that it gave me the opportunity to present my capsule collection made out of excellent Korean textiles during Men’s New York Fashion Week,” says Taeyong Ko.
