Splurge vs Steal: Spring Drugstore Beauty

One of my favorite places to shop beauty is at the drugstore. What’s not to love? You can get a whole face look in the beauty aisles for less than $50 and walk away with quality products. Can you say #DrugstoreBeautyHaul? I’ve chosen my favorite beauty steals to make you look flawless this Spring without breaking the bank.

Milani and Clarins Lip OilsMilani Moisture Lock Oil Infused Treatment $7.99 Clarins Instant Light Lip Comfort Oil  $25

Milani and Clarins have made the ultimate lip accessory: tinted lip oils with rich, natural ingredients to make your pout look as kissable as ever. Milani has a wide range of flavors and at only $7.99 a pop I’m buying all of them! Flavors range from peach mango, lemon honey to nourishing raspberry and almond coconut; all formulated with Jojoba, Avocado and Tsubaki Oil to quench and treat your lips. I’m also obsessed with their applicator which hugs every curve of my lips.

it Cosmetics and L'Oreal Cushion Compact Foundations

L’Oreal True Match Lumi Cushion $16.99  It Cosmetics CC + Veil $38

The Korean cushion-compact is still trending especially because of its light and buildable application process that lets your skin shine through. It Cosmetics has a beautiful palette of foundation shades and iconic skincare benefits in their CC +Veil compact which I love. The L’Oreal Lumi-Cushion has a radiant, buildable similar formula and it’s half the price. It’s also Hailey Baldwin’s product of choice while at Fashion Week.

L’Oreal Brow Stylist Plumper $9.99 Benefit Speed Brow $18

Never underestimate the power of a perfect brow. Brows frame your face and this colored-gel is made for the lazy girl who still wants to look polished. The L’Oreal Stylist Plumper delivers the right amount of product with it’s brush filling out unsuspecting gaps in my brows. The Benefit Speed Brow was my favorite until I discovered L’Oreal’s Brow Stylist with the same exact brush,  three times more product and at almost half the price.

The Balm Hot Mama and NARS Orgasm Blush

The Balm Hot Mama Blush $20 NARS Orgasm Blush $30

Coral blush hues are flattering on every skin tone and it particularly gives my pale complexion a boost without the cheesiness of a pink blush. Both the Hot Mama and NARS Orgasm have mini shimmery particles that give my skin a celebrity glow with a swipe on my cheeks. I stash it in my purse when going on vacation because it also doubles as pretty neutral eye-shadow.

Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua $38 Garnier SkinActive BB $11.99

Garnier has really outdone itself with their BB cream. I’ve been wearing this since last year and I can’t get over the coverage, fresh cucumber scent but mostly the amazing coverage with a drop. They also have an array of different BB creams for varying skin needs like anti-aging, acne-prone or daily shine control. My oily-combination skin has loved the anti-acne formula since last year when I discovered this gem at Walgreens. The coverage is strikingly similar to the light, airy finish of Chanel’s Vitalumiere Aqua but at one third of the price and similar quality, I’ll be shopping the drugstore aisles for my flawless skin look this Spring.
